Ward is horrible to watch

OK. Great post except the fact that you missed to answer to the main idea of the thread. Is he horrible, boring, dreadful, hair-rising, horrid, awful, ghastly, horrendous or gruesome to watch? Pick one.

 

lol....I was kind of not going to answer that question directly b/c I felt that anyone who didn't apprciate what Andre showed last Saturday would not really be open to my opinion. I thought that Ward showed he's a very good champion and has the potential to be great. It wasn't the best fight I saw, but it was impressive and I was amazed that Ward was THAT much better than Green who I thought would win. I was shocked that the height, reach and power of Green would be taken away by a very clever and seasoned vet in Andre...who I thought was "GREEN"....(pun intended )

Andre looked like a crafty ring vet in there against a young, inexpericend up and comer.

Excellent description - but be aware, the fighting style you just described = Ottke ........(a fighter who always fought at home, and won on UD...) A fighter who have no respect in US !!. Now Ward is the new Messiahs in the Mecca of boxing............... ...:huh

Only one poster in this thread has any clue about the art of boxing and that is ICEMAN.
The thread's originator and others are UFC/WWE SPECTATORS who know nothing about the sport.

WHy don't they just change the name of this site from "EASTSIDE Boxing" to "Home Of UFC Fans who know squat about boxing"?

 

No doubt about that.

 

Wards dirty boxing wont be accepted in europe. Of course fighters like Froch and Abraham (especially Froch) gets a foul in there every now and then, but they are nowhere near Ward, this guy would have gotten many warnings and point deductions and would possibly be disqualfied, if he was fighting in other places than the US. He is clearly the dirtiest fighter in the super six, and possibly in the world at the moment.
