Pimp, you are just like Dana and are trying to point out the co-promotion thing like THAT is the only problem Fedor has with the UFC instead of actually LISTENING to what he says. I can't make you see the error in your thinking so like the other "UFC or nothing" fools I choose to not discuss this anymore with you.

What IS he saying exactly? He doesn't like how the fights are presented and he doesn't like how some fighter's act. Again did he not see the last Strikeforce CBS card? It just doesn't add up. You think if Dana had agreed to co-promoting Fedor events with M-1 and signed the entire Red Devil stable as requested, Fedor still wouldn't fight in the UFC because of their "negativity". Your letting your hero worship cloud the issue.

Because. Without UFC most of us would never even hear of Fedor. M-1 would not exist. There would be no MMA forum on eastside. Fedor is a bigger slave and a ***** to M-1 then he would be to the UFC. Vadim frankenstein is a looney that accused Ubereem of being on roids. Not saying ubereem isn't juicing, but that is highly unprofessional. Dana white and the UFC deserve to be nothing but praised. Co-promoting with some random russian dudes is a complete insult. And this is coming from someone who misses the ring and the pride rules. At least Dana is trying to to get the knees on the ground back. WTF has anyone else done for the sport? Nothing. They are greedy scumbags just trying to make money. That's why the co promote and do all that other ****. Dana and the UFC made this sport.

Theres my 2 cents. This whole thing is as tiring as the pac.mayweather crap. If Fedor lost to werdum, that would singlehandedly end all this bs discussion. It would be great. It pains me to say that, because fedor is one of my favs.

you can easily find out that during the last negotiations the co-promotion issue was the only reason they couldn't come to an agreement. During the first negotiations there was a few reasons why Fedor didn't go there.

Before you imply your "hate UFC and nothing else" claus ,this imformation is easy to find.

 

Dana screwed the pooch in signing Fedor several times, and the dislike isn't only about signing Fedor. I would love to watch Brock and Fedor go at it.

Fedor isn't in a position where he needs to be, "one of Dana's boys." I don't see why he would want to after all the **** Dana has pulled. Why would you want to sign a contract for someone like that when you already have it all, and nothing to prove?

Also, why is Fedor the *****? Everybody has known who the best heavy is, and it has been this way for well over 5 years. If people like Lesnar really wanted a piece of Fedor, then they should have signed with his org. Lesnar walked away from the WWE, and tens of millions of dollars in contracts to fight for the UFC.. IMO that is ****ing awesome, Brock doesn't fight for the money! But, also if Brock really wants a piece of Fedor, he could have signed with his org and fought him..

Listen.. If you were the best in the world, would it be your responsibility to seek out other good fighters, or would it simply be to make yourself available for other fighters to come after you? It's like, you are the one holding the pot of gold, if people want it, they know where the **** you are.

I wouldn't go so far to call Lesnar a *****, but by BoxingKing's, and by lefthooks standards, we really should call Lesnar, and every other heavy who wants a piece, but isn't going after it; a *****..

Besides.. Even the heavies acknowledge Fedor as the best. How can you even **** with that?

Would you prefer MMA was more like boxing, a cluster**** of sanctioning bodies and promotions where fighters are more interested in padding their records and getting easy paydays than fighting the best? I certainly don't.

Your insistence that Dana is somehow "trapping" people in bad contracts is entirely laughable. You are aware that even the lowest UFC fighter makes a big chunk of his change from sponsors. You really think without the UFC a fighter like Joe Lauzon could make $50,000 from sponsors on his own? Fat chance.

 

Its true you got guys like Lesnar but you also got guys like GSP, Shogun, Machida who are very positive. Even Silva though some people don't like his performances is very respectful in his choice of words and has a vision for the sport of integrity and doesn't just see these fights as "I am gonna kcik some guy's ass"

you can't generalize UFC with Lesnar vs Carwin.

Also I think having a single league which all the best athletes of the sport aspire to is good for any sport.

 

Fedor would smash any champion in the UFC.

To me the UFC has become almost like the WWE the way they have been marketing it the past few years. I much enjoy watching StrikeForce for some reason. I will tune into the Lesnar/Carwin fight though.

 

Yes monopolys are great for business.

 

I think when it comes to professional sports, orgs like the MLB, NBA, PGA, NFL, and NHL would agree to an extent.

You can see why having a consensus "big leagues" in a professional combat sport such as MMA has its benefits; best fighting the best, competitive ladders, legitimacy in titles, more popularity means bigger and better paying sponsors, etc. This is not to say I believe Zuffa should run a monopoly on all of MMA - god knows I love my Shooto, Bellator, DREAM, Strikeforce - but they already have a near-monopoly on world class fighters with some obvious exceptions (Fedor) and its useless to argue otherwise. So quit crying about Dana White and consider yourself lucky someone had enough foresight to collect the worlds best fighters under one banner.
