Khan got starched, but he immediately got up(not necessarily a good idea) and tried to fight. He didnt fold up on the canvas and give up. When he gets in the ring, he goes to fight and that's clear from actually watching him box.

It's not where you're from. It's how you come. You guys sound like a bunch of kids with that mess. My country is better than yours. We have the best athletes. Oh please spare us of this nonsense. America has some garbage fighters just like Europe does. This is a world wide sport not just America and Europe folks.

Bradley - he was the guy that beat an old Witter then had a ND against an old LW Campbell and then got put down twice by Holt scraping a close decision. Thats Holt who lost his next fight to a nobody

Ward - One good win against Kessler and then fights A (nobody) Green, big deal

Alexander - the guy fighting left overs

Mosely - who I agree is willing to face all comers but whos big win resume consists of a good win years ago over Oscar, then an illegal win, P Holiday and Margarito whos career has a cloud over it

    Excellent

Why do ESB posters constantly make sweeping generalisations?

Funny how you leave out Williams and PBF because they don't help your argument.

Thankyou Pimp, I did forget P Williams a guy that got beat first time round by Quintana , gets a disputed dec over Martinez when being awarded a KD for hitting Martinez behind the head, and then gets a lucky TD win over Cintron when behind on one of the cards , and somehow this guy is highly rated. Must be by The Ring magazine .

Maywheather - Full respect to the guy, hes one of a few, he even cheated and beat LW Marquez

Probably when they allowed sissies like Joe Calzaghe to fight like a woman scratching his opponents eyes with his nails.

Attacking another country/region is the highest form of insecurity and boy are some Americans showing it in this thread.

You idiots, the guy even points out 3 AMERICAN fighters regarding heart. But no, you look at 'Location' and go on an immediate attack whilst completely avoiding the point he's making.

    Try harder.

You're right. Unfortunately, it is part of an ongoing USA vs UK thing going on ESB. But it does cut both ways.

Why go back 100 years? I'm talking about now and when I statistically proved that despite Britain producing "****" fighters, we produce more champions than America. So it's a fact America produces worse fighters, right?

I didn't go back to just Fitz, though I mentioned him. Why not? You were talking about fighters from any generation, yet discounted him. He's in every ATG list in the world, yet because it doesn't suit your agenda, you don't include him?
I agree with those but the fact say that those types of fighters are becoming the minority amongst the American elite.

Compare the best American's now, to those from the 70's. You think the heart can even be compared? Those fighters back then were much more willing to get into a proper brawl, which is no longer the case. Think about how many warriors carried the pride of Philly into the ring with them and delivered top class action, with absolutely nothing but pure determination. What has happened to that mentality? Philly's fallen warriors like Ike Williams must have rolled in their graves after the way Hopkins acted against Jones. Or what do you think Hagler, Briscoe, Frazier, Taylor or Qawi thought about it?

    Come on...

There has been a big shift in mentality.

And when you talk about "standard of life", you must remember that the majority in America aren't living that life. The fat cats you are conned into supporting are living luxurious lifestyles whilst the people at the bottom, like you, are in squalor and treated with dismay. Cut out the absurdly wealthy over there and your standard of life is much poorer than ours. We don't and never will give up on our poor.
