I already said this before but, if he's not on his toes pacs rhythm will get him too many offensive opportunities.

I think that is the only way to beat Manny pac, look at the Morales fight the first one, look at both marquez fights.... Manny does not do well when pressure is applied but the key is to not just come forward but place shots, if he comes forward with his hands up like Clottey did Manny will not be forced to fight a different style than he is used to.

He could afford to do that against a gassed Mosley. He's too smart to do that to any fighter with decent power, especially not one as good as Pacquiao. It's not his style and it would make it Pac's kind of fight instead of Floyd's usual precision efficiency.

 

Pac would stop him. Picture what Shane would have done had he had stamina and was a south paw.

 

Pac looked gassed in both Marquez fights. It happens when busy fighters face great counterpunchers.

What did he average, 40 thrown punches a round?

 

Since when did Pac become this great finisher? He had Cotto running all over the ring but still couldn't finish him even when he was badly hurt.

 

Get out of here with that, it was obvious the last two rounds of that fight that Cotto was all finished I think Pac laid back a bit because he didnt want to **** this kid up it was clear that Cotto was all done.....

He did finish Cotto, the fight was stopped.

 

it's not pac's finishing power, it's floyd's punch resistance.

The mosley right that hurt floyd was landing over and over on cotto who himself isn't great at taking big shots.

I think Pac would throw too much too often and eventually stop him. I'm not saying 1 punch KO but definitely a beating and a stoppage.

Floyd isn't dumb enough to stand right in front of him though, so it's not super likely.

 

It also happens when you cut 20 pounds to make weight. Pac stopped cutting weight, also stopped gassing from 135 up.

 

Fred has a point, but to pretend floyd throws as much as marquez is just plain stupid.
