I'm not saying Kessler is some super special lifeform, but what the **** has Green done to be held in the same regard as Mikkel?

Green has never held a belt, and prior to this tournament was not even close to getting a title fight. Now he's getting not only one but two undeserving shots.

Green is garbage, one only needs to take a peek at his record to see that. Every time he stepped up he got knocked down, I dont know what makes you think the third time is the charm.

 

Make you a deal - we throw out the votes of all known Euros biased toward those from their own continent and those of the more irrational Danish nationals...but in return, we also discount the votes of the racist American fans (the ones who will always pick the black guy in an interracial match-up...who think Hopkins saying "I'll never let a white boy beat me" before Calzaghe humiliated him is perfectly innocent but Alan Minter saying "No black man will take my title" before Hagler humiliated him marks him as some kind of evil nazi). Then we compare the remaining results to see what the objective fans actually think.

I'm all for a fair survey on a level playing field.

 

Green was hurt by Edison Miranda (once considered a hot prospect/fringe contender but has been skating the edge of "bumdom" ever since stepping up) and Donny freaking McCrary. THAT is embarrassing.

 

That wasn't a personal attack on you individually, any more than was you making the comment about Europeans was against me (I myself am American).

Just balancing the scales, is all. There are clearly some biased Euros with horseblinders on, yes. That is plain as day on this forum. It's also obvious that there are some people who do the same thing Farmboxer does, except in the other direction - and hardly ever get called on it.

 

Not only was he terribly hurt against Miranda, he was OUTBOXED MY MIRANDA.

And Miranda can't hold a candle to Kessler when it comes down to being able to box, we all know that.

Lets just bump this thread when Kessler rips Green to shreds.

 

Is Green special? Are his intestines located in his feet, hands, or lungs? Otherwise I fail to see how the surgery is relevant to his getting outmaneuvered, beaten to the punch, and gassing.

If he was fit enough to be medically cleared to fight, if his condition was good enough for the athletic commission - then it's good enough for us to accept as he was in "fighting shape". No excuses. :nono

 

So which fights better show what Green is capable of?

Your problem is that you are touting Green on the basis of 'who has Kessler beat' when the answer to that question is at least 8 or 9 guys that are better than anyone Green has beaten.
