The thing is Pacquiao vs Hatton/Hoya happened during recession. Cotto isn't even liked in Puerto Rico. LOL Mayweather-Marquez had to be moved to a Mexican holiday. They also needed to spend so much to promote that fight.

It should be 55-45 for Mayweather since Mayweather seems to have allowed a 7 day cut off date for blood testing rather then the demand for blood testing all the way up to the fight like he wanted. Also the fact that he proved to be a bigger draw.

But if it is going to kill the fight then I think Mayweather should accept the 50/50 split as well. He will make even more money after beating Pac. Blood testing is one thing but I don't think Mayweather will kill the fight over demanding a higher purse. Its just not a good look for him.

Floyd would still make at least $20 mil against a bum. And so would Pacquiao. So they really don't need each other if their intention is make some good money. It's not going to do much for either guy's legacy but the difference between the two is Floyd isn't planning on retiring at the end of the year or at least it's highly believed he'll fight 2-3 more times. Pacquiao wants to throw one last epic party and he needs Floyd to co-host it. Either that happens or Pac ends up getting a rinky dink party in his backyard.

PS. I hear Paul Williams is going back down to 147. He says give him a call if either guy wants a chance to beautify his resume w/o having to hassle over money split and other road blocks.

Pac doesn't deserve or merit equal share with Mayweather.
LOL, he couldn't make that kind of loot on his own and Mayweather can make another fight and make just as much.
Pac is going to lose anyway so he should just STFU, take his largest payday in his career and take his ass whopping like a little detoxed man.

 Who the hell gave this ****** crack?:rofl You do realize the magnitude of this fight right? It's comical that you are honestly under the false assumption that Floyd OR Manny can make this kind of paper without one anther.:yep

If the "little Detoxed Man" is in for a whoppin then why doesn't BIG BAD Floyd just man the **** up and knuckel down instead of creating reasons NOT to fight Manny. Whom again is a little guy who is out of his league?

Floyd should just take the fight and stop with coming up with requirments or demands on his end JUST to get his ass to do his Job. He's a boxer right? FIGHT for gods sake. This is like a really bad soap that never ends.

Spoken like a typical ******* who thinks Pac doesn't need PBF despite while both were active PBF was P4P #1 and Pac was clearly behind him. How quickly you forget that.

Stop with this delusional bull**** will you. I see you're not capable of reason. PBF has drawn more with common opponents this fact can't be disputed. You wonder why people think *******s are viewed as the dumbest fans in boxing, well look no further than your opening statement.:-(

I doubt it seeing that he wants to focus on politics and promised dear ol' mommy he would fight just once more. But if he somehow changes his mind, cool. Give Paul a call.

What's you excuse for PBF-Mosley then? Since you *******s are always full of them. Excuses will be the order of the day after PBF boxes circles around your hero as well....excuses. Blame the promotion, blame the economy, blame the holiday, you guys are pathetic.

Yep and Floyd Sr said yesterday on the radio show posted here that he wouldn't mind seeing PBF fight Williams. Williams would be the harder fight anyway.
