Pac became universally recognized as #1 when he beat Cotto, the same Cotto that beat Mosley. Even if you discount that win Pac's win over prime Barrera is significantly better than anything on Mayweather's record.

 

Why is it always on PBF? Why doesn't anyone put any stock into Cotto ducking him. Cotto never made PBF an offer and said he wanted the fight. He only said I fight who my promoter tells me to fight. PBF isn't the only reason why these fights don't get made but for some reason you feel like it's always his fault.

I disagree especially looking at the circumstances during that fight MAB had brain surgery which would effect any fighter. Pac was the underdog in that fight so it makes it bigger than it was.
