If u like boxers taking shots then come to montreal and let me punch you in the face for 12 rounds then amybe u might just learn to appreciate mayweather's craft a little more.

 

Not me. All he's proven to me is that he was one of the best lightweights of my lifetime. He's going to have to (actually should've already done) more than beat Pacquiao to be a p4p great. There are too many legitimate, career welters he didn't face to be p4p. Should've fought Margo, or Cotto, or Berto, or Clottey, or Williams.
Baldomir, Judah, a natural featherweight and two old greats way past their primes don't cut it for a p4p ranking.

Hell I'd give him some props if he'd fight a couple of those guys now, but he won't even fight Pac.
Berto has never lost. Clottey, Cotto and Williams have never lost to anyone Floyd had the guts to face. So if the Pac fight doesn't go through, face one of these guys he's been avoiding.

There are no facts to argue. Floyd is bad for boxing in the sense of long term detriment. It's why every decent fight is on PPV instead of regular HBO.

The point that

A) injuries can happen in boxing training (you wouldn't know).
B) if he faked it then beat his butt for double the money that makes him even smarter.

So the point is that no matter what the scenario your position is one of irrational hate.

FMJ is good for boxing just like Manny is. The sad part is that Manny's fear of testing is bad for boxing.

Margo was the guy EVERYONE was calling for him to fight. It would've been huge. And Baldomir had 9 losses and 6 draws when Floyd fought him. Nice try. Hang on to your hero worship. But it don't fly with real fight fans.

Fact is, all those top welters busted their butts fighting each other. Meanwhile, Floyd picks on old guys and featherweights and clowns like you try to defend it. He's a chump champ at welter. He was a great lightweight, but nothing but a pretender beyond that. He's a conman, and you're his mark.
