Why do you watch Mayweather?

  1. Its a little bit of both options for me. The fact that he's the most skilled on Earth right now means that if someone beats him it will be HUGE. Especially if he gets knocked out.

It's kind of both. I'd like to see him get shut up by a game opponent, but at the same time I like watching his style. Great fighter's with a specific skillset and a trademark style is always fun to watch for a real boxing fan.

To watch the best boxer in the worldI find his effencity amazing. I'm fascanated by his style and aproche to the sport not bored by it.
I don't nesscarly enjoy his anticts outside of the ring. I think it is all part of the game for him.

Im not gonna lie, to see someone beat him, now i like slick fighters but he really does not do it for me, he disengages for too much for my liking, he also does not close the show, i personally thought the JMM fight was boring as hell tbh, technically impressive by Mayweather, but a poor spectacle, its not so much that i cant appreciate slick fighters either, i loved watching Whitaker fight, but even he was a lot more aggressive than Mayweather.

Mayweather put on a better display against Mosley though, albeit it was a bit one sided. Corley, Chavez, Castillo 1, Burton are my favourite Mayweather fights, if i can call them favourites

Landing punches with your eyes closed is so unimpressive.

I have to admit I am surprised at the way the poll is going. I expected a positive result for Mayweather but not by such a wide margin.

Becuase he is the closest thing to boxing perfection in my era, and possibly ever.

By this i dont mean he is unbeatable, i just mean he makes one of the roughest most hardcore sports look beutiful.

Yes i know that sounds gay but to move so gracefully when someone is trying to knock your block off is an amazing thing to watch IMO.

Try and do 10% of what Floyd does. Its near impossible.

If you think that then you should watch Whitaker's career set, many master classes against high caliber fighters.
