From what I can tell, Dirrell and Ward (Ward especially) are very nice young men. And their certainly not avoiding the best by taking part in this tourney. The whole point was to settle who is the best. Campbell is 3 or 4 years older than Floyd, so I doubt Floyd had anything influence on him growing up. Bradley is also a down-to-earth family man. I don't know much about Alexander, but for a guy no one had heard of until his last couple wins, I'd say it's hard to accuse him, based on his resume, of being afraid of top fighters.
