I don't buy this idea that the negotiations breaking apart is all part of the hype. I think it could have been before but now, most people are just completely tired of it. Plus, it only really works if they fight next week but if it was for hype, who is going to be more itnerested in the fight, 6 months down the line when it's around the corner, because of how much the negotiations stalled?

Yea I think so too. This fight would generate way too much money for either fighter not to take. Easily one of the biggest $$$ fights of all time if not THE richest fight ever. These guys are used to winning, but in the long run when they start figuring how nice would it be to have all that extra cash in their bank accounts, I don't think Floyd would mind an official 1 in his loss record. Manny I think has less to lose in this fight. I'm sure Floyd's gotta be the favorite to win.
