I hope he does, he has potential clean up the division as long as Klitschko has not broken him.

My worry is how his body will hold up after losing the weight

It'll be tough to keep him there- the fights come less frequently and the paydays are smaller. I see where Eddie's getting at, but I doubt he'll get an offer at Cruiser that's more attractive than the exposure and what he makes as a top contender at Heavyweight.

He doesn't seem to be a mentally weak fighter, hell he probably had excepted WK was going to smash him before the fight was signed.

He should have been made the jump years ago IMO...This is a good move by Chambers and his team...He was a small HW anyways ( but good in his own ways)

He looked pretty trim at 215lbs against Wlad, but if he can dehydrate to 199lbs for the weighin, it would be great for him. I'd love to see him fight Marco Huck.

I dont know about Chambers mentality, but in general, when you expect that you are going to lose the fight, then you arent tough mentally.

In his last 2 fights he weighed 208-209 pounds. I think that he can make 200 pounds with ease.

I think it would be a smart move, and I've been saying that for a couple years.

I was just thinking this. He might get shocked by the speed of some of these cruisers

Chambers knows he won't go anywhere at HW without the Klits retiring.
