If Bute-Brinkley happens, it will be equal to Ward-Green but, be sure that after the fight, you will not see at ESB, posts with the word -boring for titles. But for this fall, there is more chances for Bute-Hopkins.And Andrade is B level, not C, if you are in top 10, top 15.

 

Tell me if I'm right: you never heard of Bute until his first or second fight with Andrade. You already knew Kessler, Green, Froch, Ward, Miranda and Andrade but Bute wasn't on your list. Now, seeing him rise so quickly is kind of weird. You accept Abraham and Dirrell, who you didn't knew until now, because they're part of the S6 with the guys you know, but who the Hell is this Bute?! Yes, he's got skills but it's nonsense to put him above all with only 3 matches. You searched for him on youtube and got fragments of other 3 matches but you still can't justify his position.
The main point is that you missed his raise. Haven't seen much of his career while it was developing. You were paying attention to some other guys who you thought they are "the real deal". Now, if you ask me, your attitude isn't blamable at all. I never knew who Ward was until the tournament and I ask myself the same thing: is it normal to be the champion after only one important win?
Think of that, I may be right.

Now Green is considered a legit fighter only because he's part of the S6. A Bute - Green fight is a bigger mismatch that Bute - Miranda but there are people who claim Green would give a hard fight to Bute.
If you search for a pool Bute - Stieglitz, only hardcore Stieglitz fans and Bute haters vote for an upset. But if Stieglitz was part of the S6 he would have had like 50% of votes or more. People think: "He must be awesome if he's part of the S6". They are the best only because they participate in this tourney. They take that for a fact. IMO Stieglitz > Green.
It's like one man (Bute) ruined the play of other 6 (make it 7 now). That must be frustrating!

 

The entire tournament is a hoax. I mean not inviting one of the belt holders was lame. And also what is this BS about only 3 Europeans vs 3 Americans? Showtime's epic fail.
Bute is gonna be for a long, long time the IBF champion. He already defended his belt 5 times. Froch was running scared of Bute, he didnt want to fight an IBF title eliminator with him.

Unless Bute beats Dawson(while S6 is still taking place), there is NO justification of placing him above Ward. Absolutely none. Ward beat the man to beat at 168. Bute is really making name by fighting left overs. No doubt, KOing Miranda and Andrade... write well in boxrec, BUT... until he faces a World Class opponent, he'll forever remain just a belt holder.

 

I feel like this is just going in circles because people are too lazy to read or too stupid to care, but how exactly did Kessler become "the man"? Was it when he lost to Joe Calzaghe? Or when he beat Dmitri Sartison? Or maybe when he beat Danilo Haussler? Or perhaps mighty giant Gusmyr Perdomo? If it's not those, who is it? Because those were his last four fights before he fought Ward.

Kessler was the favorite and the #1 contender coming into the tournament, but he wasn't "the man." If he was the man, then Ward would be #1 without question. But anyone who thinks he was the man is ignorant.
