Supposedly, this is coming from the Mayweather camp. Signatures are still needed, so don't get too happy. See story below.

Recently RSR has been breaking news that Floyd Mayweather, JR. and Manny Pacquiao is a “Done Deal” with signatures only needed on the finalized contract from our “inside source” close to Team Mayweather. Well, what a difference a week makes in the promotional lives of Bob Arum Head of Top Rank, INC and Oscar De La Hoya Head of Golden Boy Productions. The Golden Boy has recanted his original statements, but has not directly come out and said this instead he has chosen Chief Executive Richard Schaefer to be his mouth piece. On the other hand, Bob Arum has not directly said the fight is a “Done Deal”, but has funneled out just enough information that says the fight is almost a “Done Deal” raising the hopes of the boxing public.

How big is this fight to boxing? Put it like this, message boards everywhere have been discussing RSR articles and many others written by various websites on the net. With heated discussions, this is a good thing for boxing, but make no mistake about it, it is exceptionally good for the fighter’s purses and the promoters pockets. The internet boxing websites are a blaze with many very well written articles to include opinionated ones as well which are very interesting to read. You even have the occasional groupie who is inspiring to be a journalist writing their thoughts as well on blogs and even those, are funny to read and generate publicity for what will be the biggest fight in boxing history come this November.

Until Yahoo! Sports covers it, it didn't happen.

I think their waiting until end of World Cup to announce it. Were they to announce it now, most countries would barely notice it with all the football hysteria currently on TV.

So 4 months to hype that fight...

I can't wait to see which sponsors hop on the bandwagon to get a little kickback from the popularity of this contest.

Besides PPVs, this will be like the Super Bowl of boxing in regards to sponsors !

If this deal is true, DLH must be cumin' in his fishnets by now...

Only Arum and/or Schaefer can stop all these rumors and speculations. I'll wait for the official word from these two.

There's an article saying Arum was very optimistic and happy and that an announcement will be made before the end of June.

Sweet, this is the 23rd article claiming the fight is a "done deal".

This fight isn't a "done deal" until a OFFICIAL announcement and press conference is made, with a backdrop banner that says "Mayweather vs Pacquiao - ****in' Finally", with Floyd Mayweather and Co on one side of the tables, and PacMan and Co on the other side of tables, talking what I can only assume to be a large amount of **** to each other.

Once the above paragraph happens then this fight is OFFICIALLY OFFICAL.
