50-50 was settled before. if one fighter demands more, it would tilt the balance of negotiations. besides 50-50 is the way for thi onece in a lifetime fight. and 50-50 is more fair than 60-40 which is floyd's demand. so what is your reason why floyd deserve's 60-40 or pac deserves to be shortchanged with a 40% offer?

.... Pac should test because the accusations don't mean anything? And about wanting the fight, Floyd is equally as unwilling to take the fight for being steadfast about this OSDT business.

Just as above, Floyd is at an equal amount of fault as well. The fight would have been easily made the first time had there not been heat about testing/Floyd Sr opening his big mouth..

This I kind of agree with. Agreeing to the 14 days now puts the first flop on Pac, but moving the goalpost by 20% due to an arbitrary 16% edge in revenue (profit/loss notwithstanding) doesn't help make the fight at all..

Nah, not needles... just dick waving

Different set of negotiations for a different point in time.

They need to negotiate to come to a figure they agree on, similar to how Hatton gave in to give Pacquiao a bigger purse even though they had agreed on 50/50 just to get the fight made.

Pacquiao refusing to budge isn't helping the situation.

bargaining 101 ... always start with a higher price. This is how EVERY negotiation starts. Both teams would be stupid to go in there saying all they want is 50/50. If Pac's team went in only asking for 50/50 then they're not bargaining from a confident position.

another good title for this thread would be "Pacquiao Vows Not to Fight Mayweather."

How about "Pacquiao has agreed to drug testing and floyd **** bricks again and now insists on a bigger share because he's too much of a ***** to fight a fighter who he insisted was an easy fight in the first place?" Much more appealing.

14 days is not agreeing. I'm sure your going to bring up that Mayweather was willing to make this compermise before negoitions broke down. However They both went their seprete ways because 14 days at the time was too close to the fight for Pacquiao. In my opinion it was a mistake for Mayweather to agree to 14 days considering that Pacquiao wanted closer to 30 days. He should have known that Pacquiao would not agree to 14 days than and that he would "agree" to it latter.
