Being a new boxing fan i am finding it hard to come to grips with whos better than who. what means what in terms of interim champions etc. the wba for example, do they have 2 champions in each division. Danny green holds a IBO belt the same ibo that credits lenny zappa as the best lightweight in the world?? so many queries and very few answers. In a nutshell which organization do you think is the most credible in this day and age. Not to sure if this is the right place to put it, so dont rip me a new one if its in the wrong area.

Pay no attention to any of the alphabet bets mate. The most legitimate belt and ranking system is the Ring Magazine ratings/champions. It is not perfect but is far far more credible than any of the other belts.

The IBO is one of the worst imo. sanctioning Danny Green vs some bum Dominguez for the 200 lb belt was a farce. The Ibo has now let Green defend this joke title continually against light heavyweights and they both weigh in at 180 to make it look legit. This scenario just proves you can buy a belt.

I did say it wasn't perfect but it is clearly the most legitimate belt compared to the other titles. If you don't agree with this can you please explain why mate.

Ring Magazine is definitely the best of the lot. Daylight second IMO. The fact Oscar owns it doesn't wash with me one bit.

Further to that, he owns the publishing company, not the magazine outright, but anyway. Funny seeing how many rate the WBO so highly. Not disagreeing in any way, but when I was growing up it was usually spelt "WBOgus" by most publications.

Like Billy H said in that wonderful doco, 'Choc usually fights for vacant titles...'.
