If Klitschko's camp had no intention of lying, why was Haye banned from talking to the press throughout negotiations?

They lied about the offer, and presumably other things, to put heat on Haye, which has worked. He's gone from being ready to fight the brothers in everyones eyes to a coward. Bravo to them, but it's a cheap promotional ploy, which ranks alongside Mayweather's attempt to tarnish Pacquiao.
