If Mayweather beats Pac before the year is out, should Mayweather be renamed the fighter of the decade?

No, even if he does diserve it. You can't take back an award that was already given out. That be like the NBA deciding to take back LeBron's MVP award and give it to Kobe because he won the championship.

How can you strip some1 of an award even if some1 does lose.
It would be like stripping an actor of his Oscar if his next film is ****.

Mayweather could have taken FOTD. He ****ed it up by ducking all the top WW's.

No, but I do feel he wasn't the rightful recepient to begin with. That award should have went to Mayweather imo.

Why is this award so important?

Do you get a 40million cash prize with it?

Doesn't matter its just a trophy. Beating/embarrassing pac is much better.

Mayweather was p4p #1 in the sport for most of the decade.. Pac became that in 2008.. Nobody gives a **** about some made up trophy. Most of us know Floyd is better than Pac and can and will beat him when they fight. There is no ifs.. there is no doubts.

    what he said!!

    Besides who cares

IMO opinion Mayweather is FOTD with or without the award...

PAC got the award so he should keep...There is a semi valid point as to why pac got it....he isn't completely undeserving of the title FOTD

No doubt in my mind Floyd would easily beat Pac. But in all honesty Pac deserves the fighter of the decade, because he simply accomplished more, by really coming out of nowhere to becoming one of the two most dominate fighters in the sport.
