There's been times when I wanted to punch my trainer in the face! Does that count?

Yes, but only because we were sparring. I know sparring your trainer sounds weird, but we have many trainers, and a lack of people so when I don't have a partner to spar with he gets in the ring with me

Well, we do "sparring" sometimes, and I have hit him once to the body when he wasn't using his body pads.

One time he smacked me in the head with the pads so i threw a jab at his face,
I missed on purpose, he knew i was kidding though. He was like "I'M NOT THE ONE WHOSE SUPPOSED TO BE KEEPING MY HANDS UP!" haha.

I sometimes do focus pad drills with beginners. Sometimes they miss the pads and I've been hit a few times right in the face.

I assume you're talking about on the pads. From the perspective of a casual traniner I find that you do come across guys every now and then who throw punches that you haven't asked for. The guys that do this are generally people whose heads go off into strange places when they train and lack focus, awareness, and concentration. IMO you should be in control of your body enough not to throw random punches. In my experience it's really difficult and a bit disconcerting training people who do this because you're never sure where the next one is coming from. My guess would be that 9 out of 10 trainers would find what you do really annoying.

How do you miss that bad :lol:
Unless the pad is right next to his face.

    :rofl:rofl

    This is definitely me!

I don't do it that often though.. maybe once or twice everytime we train I'll throw the combo that is in my head rather than the one he tells me to throw.

my wrestling coach challenged another student to some boxing sparring to try put him in line or to try and prove a point for some reason. The spar got a little heated and it ended up in a fight, the student gave him a bloody nose and hit him with numerous straight rights. It was hilarious. It crushed my coaches ego for about 2 weeks. He got his ass handed to him in front of about 10 of his students by one of his students

Sounds fun indeed, shame you didn't tape it

  14. One time I had some pro kick boxer teaching me some of his boxing while light sparring, he stepped forward with his hands low and I threw the 1-2 he was getting me to do in the mirror. It came off unusually flush and when they connected everyone heard a big SNAP and bloke pouring everywhere. Session over.

He said it wasn't broken. To be honest, first time something like that happened and a good 'learning' experience.

i dont bring a video recorder to training and it was just a random challenge, that was why is was so good to see the coach get put back into his place.
