He brought this image on himself to gain more interest around him...he may be 'an overall good guy', but thats not how he is marketed, or wants to be portrayed to the public.

I have to respectfully disagree with the Champ, the truth is people generally dislike Mayweather, yes but that has been the secret to his success and marketability. There are so many Cinderalla stories, about the man who comes up, working hard and remains humble, the boxer we all grow to love.
Where as Mayweather did the complete opposite, and made himself the anti-hero, the antogonist in many respects. So what happens is that as soon as he beats some one, rather than concede his greatness, we try and figure out who could beat him, and start to hypothetically line up boxers who we think could beat him. I watch Mayweather fights not because I like him, because I want to watch in hopes to see when he loses.

Take for instance most of us on here knew Mosley was going to lose to him, we can argue whatever you want, but deep down inside we knew that Mosley was not prime Mosley. But, we still ordered (payed) to watch the fight because we had a glimmer of hope that Mayweather would lose, and wanted to see it, and celebrate it when he did.

I am not a Mayweather fan by any stretch of the imagination but I have to hand it to this guy, he is one hell of a business man in this sport.

Right now, the majority of the people will watch and root for Pacman, but face it, even if it was not PAC you would still watch because you want to see Mayweather Lose so badly even if the odds are favoring him, and its a long shot.

Thats just my opinion, Mayweather attracts alot of PPV buys not because he is loved but the complete opposite. There is no such thing as bad publicity, publicity is publicity.

Who cares what Holyfield says? He should be trying to take care of his 9 kids. Holyfield is delusional PBF brings the PPV numbers and that's all that matters.

Pac brought 51,000 fans to dallas against clottey. 51,000 with barely any hype and commercial about the fight.

Like i said before and i will repeat this a thousands more times if i have too..

Floyd was fine with 50-50 the first time around but all of a sudden it ain't good enough now:patsch. Just say I don't want to fight pacquaio so we can all move on.

Floyd is not a cash cow. He raked in huge money when he fought De La Hoya (the most popular bocer of the last 20 years), and when he fought Shane Mosley (a legendary offensive puncher). People didn't go to see Floyd: they went to see Oscar and Shane.

How is it you can simply write off what Evander Holyfield says when he has clearly been a top PPV draw for more than a decade and on top of that he is an African American, who is not showing Biased in favor of Mayweather... Perhaps thats the real reason, so rather than to admit the fact that Holyfield has more insight into the game than you do, you simply disregard what he says becuase you beleive he is delusional?
Get a ****ing grip, Evander knows more about this sport inside and out and on the business than all of us here combined.

    You are deluded.

Oscar's best ppv ever was 1.4.Thats it.Then Floyd came along and brought 1 million more to that to make the highest ppv ever.

Shane has simply never been a ppv draw!Never ever ever.

Because what he says is bull****. PBF is a draw and has the numbers to back it up as the biggest draw currently in the sport. What he's doing is no different than any other ******* who refuses to admit the truth.
