Yeah but dispute what I said.Oscar's very best was 1.4.He had fought Shane and Tito and a lot of others and "his" very best was 1.4.

Then Floyd came along as the #1 p4p and made far less money like pacq will have to.
But anyway.Floyd came along antagonizing and bringing his own fans and fans of intelligent boxing as well as casual fans sucked in by the hype, and voila,2.4 million buys.So yes Oscar is ppv king of all time but he never reached 1.5 without Floyd, let alone 2.4..Floyd is the ppv superstar that even blew up Oscar's numbers. He is part of the biggest ppv in history and with Pacq maybe he will be in the 2 biggest ppv in history where he is the common denominator.Deny that,or dispute that Oscar has done over 1.4 without Floyd.

He's right though. People wanna see a fighter like Pac and not a defensive master like Floyd. that's obvious.

That's obvious how!!They didn't sell out Cowboys stadium by a long shot, even with 25 dollar tickets. The fight with Oscar was not even close to the biggest ppv ever. The Hatton fight did 800k,not a million and not even 900k.What's obvious is that he is a B+ ppv draw. Not an A- or A or A+ or A++.That's what's obvious.

    No he didn't: http://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/article/65987

Also, barely any hype. **** Bob Arum was all over **** screaming that he was reviving boxing, vegas sucks, and they promoted that all over Texas trying to get people to come see what the hoopla was about. Besides the tickets were dirt cheap in comparison to Mayweather-Mosley.

Also, about this "he was fine the first time around". So what? The first time around ended when Manny said **** off and sued him. **** changed and now Manny wants to go back to the previous arrangement. Sorry it doesn't work that way in business.

Bull****, what your saying right is no different than what the rest of the *****s state here, both men are draws a true un biased fan will admit that much.
Pacquiao fills the arenas while Floyd has had golfers leave mid way through his bouts.
both have an arguement, but if anybody deserves the higher share IMO it should be Manny, he didnt retire, he stepped up and took on big challenges at this higher weight class, and has out performed Floyd in common opponents

Standing up to challenges and out performing PBF with common opponents has nothing to do with who the the bigger draw is and who gets the bigger purse. However, doing bigger numbers on PPVs with common opponents and every other one does.:deal Too bad for you that your argument doesn't work that way in the real boxing world it's all about the almighty dollar and right now PBF is bringing more in than Pac is period end of discussion.

Well, Holyfield has it right, AT LEAST PART OF IT.

Myself for example, I don't normally watch Floyd, because I just don't like him, his attitude, etc... But if there's a fight I think he could lose (and against Pac is one of them), I'll order it.

    So his thinking is correct.

The majority of them that are doing it are very young and of a different generation that were not lucky enough to witness the Heavyweight Division when the likes of Holyfield, Tyson and other phenoms dominated. So don't pay them too much attention. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Evander but I respectfully disagree with him.

Valid points ..Most people don't tune in to watch Mayweather win they want to see him lose !Manny is the ultimate good guy in boxing ..Not bad for Floyd he still gets the fame and fortune but he's not brininging them in ..Its his hate which is..

in your twisted pathetic little mind PBF is bringing in more than Pac, when in reality Pac is doing more for the sport and not the business, it just so happens that the way he fights, fans tend to enjoy that and it shows in his numbers as well.
Do you think Clottey vs Mayweather would have sold out in Dallas? if you say yes your a ****ing moron.
The reality of it is, Manny has earned the right to an even split if not a higher share, but you want to bring out some bull**** fabricated #s to support your arguement, #s which also consist of Movie ticket sales and not PPV numbers.
its funny how you all slip and dodge that arguement, you all say the Movie tickets are counted seperatley but they are no where to be found. Why is that? the answer is simple, they are included in the PPV #s
Manny doesnt have to fraud the numbers the way Floyd has to..... his numbers are solid. and his work set forth in sport is exactly the reason why Manny gets the support he does get... Manny does not look for reasons not to fight...
