Fair enough, thanks for the information.:good

I'm with you, I like Fury now. Hopefully he can get his conditioning in order and give us some more great fights like last night's.

What a brilliant character to have around for the next 10 years hopefully. He's going to be the cult hero of boxing forums everywhere!

i genuinely wish fury all the best. he can come off as a bit of a nob but he's interesting and doesn't have a muppet-sounding voice like a certain other hw prospect shown last night.

world title may be a stretch though....

Hitched up the stolen 'ifor williams' trailer and got aboard the ford transit tipper that runs on red diesel.

Fury is a top class character that he game has been screaming out for. Hopefully he gets a decent trainer and gets some good sparring done as opposed to sparring his 25st brother (who had the dodgiest hairdo i have ever seen btw).

As long as I don't have to sit next to anyone with a Manure shirt on I am onboard...:barf

I think that there a a few heavyweights outhere who have Fury's number and it's only a matter of time before he comes unstuck...:yep

:good Agreed. I see so many people moan about boxing nowadays compared to the ego's and character's of yesteryear. Yet we get a pretty good young heavyweight who can talk for England yet he's **** and a *****.

He boxed really well for opening two rounds. What i was glad about was the fact he must of went and re-watched the first fight and adapted. He did some really mature things in there for someone so young.

The question of Furys conditioning is a difficult one. We all know 21 year old kids who are very tall and without exception every one of them is rangy, skinny even, and they don't fill out until their mid 20's. Getting decent muscle mass onto a 6'9" frame by his age would be impossible...I suspect that his natural weight at his age would be around 235 - 240...if he had come in at that weight against McDermott last night John would have gone to the body and just cut him in two. I think that we will only be able to judge Furys physical attributes properly in 3-4 years time when he has fully matured.

As for Fury himself, I like the kid and always have. Anyone with only half a brain can see that the **** that he spouts is said entirely in jest, we saw the real Tyson Fury last night. His dad John only does what most fathers do and that is to big up his kids, I do it, we all do it. Good luck to them both
