To be perfectly honest - that 50 year old Couture as you call him was the one that dethroned Sylvia when he was UFC champion. Fedor beat Sylvia after his losing streak sent him out of the UFC. Fedor needs to step up his game because his credentials were built by beating the best in the world in 2005. Now those same fighters have been defeated by the current crop of UFC heavyweights and aren't considered the best any more. Simply put - beyond Overeem, the rest of the top heavyweights are in the UFC and Fedor is not fighting them. Werdum is a tough fighter - but he's also one that lost to one of the UFC's top heavyweights - so again Fedor is fighting UFC castoffs. He needs to get back in the mix or retire. Perhaps a battle with Overeem would be the perfect fight to retire on as it is apparent that he won't be facing the top fighters of the division after that.

When you beat the reigning champion, you earn your championship

we know using roids to get that championship don't bother you

  4. All these UFC HW champions have only ever fought 1 top ten fighter in their whole career. Fedor has fought 3 top 10 in his last three fights, far more than any UFC HW fighter.

Syliva had a back injury in the couture fight, and he lasted five rounds. He was in good shape for the fedor fight and got finished in thirty seconds. Big difference there.

And fedor doesn't need to do **** my friend. He can do what the **** he wants.

Records mean ziltch.................in saying that Fedor will beat Brock.

Just have a look at boxers who fight out of South America,Britian,Australia,Asia etc that have 30-0 but when they fight a proper sepo in the states its a different story.

  9. Allot of great boxers in south/central America, allot of great fighters in Australia and Asia. There are many beltholders that comes from those region.

C'mon mate the point im trying to make is they have padded records for a good 20 fights b4 facing top level comp...... In Lesnar's case he fight Mir in his 2nd fight who was the HW champ, now that a decent effort even tho he lost.

Basically he's 4-1 record is not like the normal MMA guy with a 4-1 record.

    And true.

I can understand when people complained that he doesn’t deserve title shot with so few fights.
    But that’s before the fight.

When you KO the champion silly, you have proven you deserved the title shot after all and most certainly you deserve to be called a new champion.

  12. Brock became a HW champ after fighting Randy, who is ancient beyond belief, had a 1.5 year absence from the sport, over the hill and hasnt been all that good.

Also Tim Silvia took Randy Couture to a 5th round Decision. Fedor took Tim out in 36 seconds. If Randy can compete with Brock, then Fedor would anahilate Brock.

Your missing the point............... name another MMA fighter who fought that type of quality after 2-3 fights?

  14. Lots of fighters have fought 4 fighters outside the top 10 and 1 fight in the top 10.

Randy as UFC champ has lost 10 of his fights and has only won 18.....this is a pathetic record.

    What :huh

Brock Lenar has had 5 fights and the quality has been top 20 material, the point im making is everybody else (boxing, wrestling,MMA, football etc ect) doesn't face that sort of quality from the get go.
