good point and that's a damn fair comparison. moore's record at heavy was ridiculous (something like 40-3) but I didn't realize that he dropped back down to light heavy after having success.

bob foster though is a bad example: he lost to every decent heavy he ever fought. EVERY one. and he never put on the weight, he fought ali very small and certainly not north of 190

 

Oh please don't. I wouldn't be surprised if Jones was breast fed steroids.

banned substance yes and he was appropriately penalized. hell that fight could have been declared a no contest. if anyone had ever provided a shred of evidence that he ever took any steroid, great i'm on board.

i'm sorry but no one was talking about jones on steroids until the "doctors" on esb started mentioning it. the same "doctors" that say pac is on roids.

like i said below, if that's true i'm in agreement. but i've never seen any evidence of that, nor of the IBF saying that. if they did though, and he did take steroids, that's a different story and i apologize

don't know what, if anything, could give a false positive but that's pretty clear to me

roy jones junior is a steroid cheating disgrace, his achievements in the ring should be scrubbed from the book like the sprinter ben johnsons were :deal

jones is still one of, if not my absolute favourite boxers of all time. now though i know he cheated against richard hall

Even if it was just against Hall, it does cast at least an element of doubt over his career. A huge shame and disappointment to any boxing fan, as he was one of the best.

 

:thumbsupcan hardly trash margarito and say his wins are nulled and not give a little bit of that to jones. i'm biased all to hell but i'll probably take the same stance as with mosley: i know he cheated in one fight (mosley may have been ignorant of it but still) so that fight is a wash. and i'll likely look at him with some suspicion in other performances. in the grand scheme, i'll probably rate him just as highly but there might be an asterix next to his name, MAYBE he wasn't natural in all his fights and who knows if or when he used in other fights
