I remember watching the epic Fidel Bassa v Dave McAuley fights as a kid. Fantastic action. Wonder if they're available anywhere...

How cant it be? I love the skill and art of boxing better than most things. I would much prefer to watch two skilled technicians battle out a tactical fight with ebb and flow than two fighters going at it like cornered badgers.

Also 4 of the fights I mentioned were from the late 80's onwards.

De La Hoya vs Mayweather was actually a very good fight, I enjoyed it. Also if you actually watched the fights you would see why I rate them so highly, it is alright calling me a elitist and saying I'm only liking it because its old, but without seeing the fight, how do you know it genuinly isnt great?

    Marshall Cavendish collection isnt it?

I've only seen the first one and it has one of the best flows of action I have seen in a fight.

It dosent do anything for me, I'd much rather see two respectful guys go in give a great fight then shake hands at the end.

What can I say I'm just one bad mother****er. I like to think of myself as a skinny, white Glaswegian Hagler.

Not a chance...but I do like clean and powerful HW fights, as compared to more lightning paced fights in the lower weight divisions.

Lewis-Briggs was one I really enjoyed for example.

    Moore - Macklin
    Hagler - Hearns

I have volumes 1-40 on VHS pal with accompanying magazines. Tried selling them but no ****er wanted them

Also I agree about the Barrera/Morales trilogy. If you don't like that then I have serious questions about your sexuality

You ever watched Hasim Rahman v Corrie Sanders? Outstanding heavyweight 'sleeper' fight. The greatest WBU fight I've ever seen.

My favrouite Hagler fight is vs Duran, alot of people think thats crazy but I genuinly love that fight.

Ishy's would be basically any fight when a black man gets beat by a white man.

    I offered to buy them.

My trainer has given me a heap of them, some really good fights on it.
