I with ya, I can bare to see Fedor finally lose. I mean it was bound to happen sooner or later. What I can NOT bare is the UFC nutlicker/Brock Lesnarites who will never let Fedor or his fans live this down.

Fedor fans need to remember one thing. It took Fedor 33 fights to lose. And Fedor has fought some of the best HW's MMA had to offer.

Meanwhile, Lesnar got subbed in less than 2 minutes to a mediocre fighter in Frank Mir who has lost to Vera, Cruz, Freeman and now Carwin who had really no legitimate wins in the UFC aside from GG. And at this point beating GG is far from impressive as hes been living off that Crocop win for 3 years.

Really, what has Lesnar even done other than beat a fossil in Couture who is campaigning at LHW and Mir who will never, EVER fight for a title again. Its actually amazing how Lesnar even got a title with the competition he went through.

at least IMO, he lost in a way the Lesnar could never have done....that sub was perfect... !

Fedor got subed by a world class BJJ practionner, no shame into that !

I don't think its Fedor fans that need to remember that. We know the difference between fantasy and reality. You should be talking to UFC fans about that.

Lesnar has fans? The UFC guys hate that a pro wrestler mangled the best they had in a few fights.

Werdum is a totally different style of fighter than Lesnar. I don't see any parallels between what happened tonight and what might happen in a Fedor vs Lesnar battle. Is Lesnar going to armbar Fedor or get a triangle choke? Two totaaly different fighters there.

What I do see is the big four Pride heavyweight greats showing that they are all aging and past their respective primes. As evidenced by Cro Cop losing to Gonzaga and Kongo. Nogeira losing to both Mir and Velasquez by shocking kayos in both fights. Barnett still winning but not looking nearly as dominant and sharp as he did in Pride. Fedor showed some uncharacteristic vulnerability against both Arlovski and Rogers before icing them. Now the surprising but not exactly shocking submission loss to a classy and supremely prepared Werdum.

If he had to lose I am glad it was to the classy and gracious Werdum. What a nice guy. I am relieved it was not against someone arrogant and obnoxious. I hope Fabricio beats Overeem again.

Still lost. You can say the same about Fedor/Werdum.
