duddy showed great heart and grit just lacked the technical and defensive skills he needed at this level!couldnt give him a round that he won all the same!maybe a share of a 2-3 tops

Proud of Duddy but how does a fella get that far without any speed, punch or speed?

Aye, good show John, gave the best, I'd give him Rd 2, then a piece of 3 and 6. After that.. Some heart though, I hope he doesn't see a Eurp route as beneath him although he does live in the US and obviously wants to proceed there.

maybe your right, but maybe he just never had the skills or the boxing ability all along, he lacked it in the amateurs and i think he lacked it tonight too! but nonetheless a great warrior, with a big heart and great chin!

Ah most likely, he'd find it hard to catch Yuri. So, one of the Irish middleweight world prospects bites the dust, who's next?

just in from work guys and from what im reading this fight played out like i thought it would.i posted here earlier and i dont post often that i heard 10 day's ago from a source close to duddy that all is not well with him and his head is just not in it anymore.a combination of troubles steming from not able to get that fight with verno phillips, fallout with mcloughlins and loss to lyell have affected him.he gave good value for money show's and if he retires now which i would rather he do than take unneccesary punishment,i wish him luck.:thumbsup
