Losing ONE POUND can never in a million years weaken an adult male.

Seriously, that losing a pound weakening Cotto is ridiculous.

well it went like this: He was at an amusement park and the ride had a weight limit that he was just over, so he took a **** and a dump, ran a lap around the park, changed into a t-shirt and shorts and managed to get under the weight limit. And here is a video of him on the ride:

I'm guessing your analysis about covers it. Maybe he fought in middle school and is drawing on his vast experience as a highly trained athlete when he was 12.

I'm a Morales & Cotto fan but I'll admit Pacquiao did beat them. Cotto wasn't too far from his prime and I give Pac all the credit in the world for that win. Erik was very past it in the trilogy but Pacquiao avenged his previous loss to him by beating him twice. Can't hate on that. Also everyone is different so even a pound can affect a fighter negatively. Still it's no reason to discredit guys like Pacquiao or Tarver. They won because they were the better fighters no excuses. Weight may have been an issue with Roy, Cotto, and Morales but that's their faults for coming in the ring not 100%.

I remember on the 24/7 that oscar had hired a dietician and was already around WW pretty early on.But a dietician is not the same as a sports nutritionist who probably could have kept him healthier while losing the weight.Almost seems like he shed the weight off quickly and then tried to train up.Someone who's been fighting as long as he has should have known better. To be honest though, even if he had lost it in a healthy manner and simply made 147 and rehydrated back up,I don't think he would have won.He gassed against Floyd,Manny would have eventually worn him down and decisioned him.

1lb would be another 1/2L of water on an already dehydrated man.

well lets put it this way, if it made no difference, why would team pacquaio insist on it.

what team Pacquiao wanted was 143.

It was Cotto's team that wanted the 145.

I don't recall that. I believe after Cotto's team declined 143, Roach then changed his team's demands to 145. I'll be more than happy if you can show me some articles.

pac's first fight at 147 was against DLH which turned out to be an easy fight for pac. not a good measuring stick to see if pac was ready to trade blows with the elites at 147 lbs.

You're a ****ing inbred slut if you think having a 10-week training camp to make 145 makes the slightest difference to having a 10-week training camp to make 146.

You don't know what a pound is, so go die in a gutter somewhere. :good
