Many times we get to see undefeated fighters show their true character after a defeat, how often do we see such a great fighter unfazed by their first real lost? Fedor remains unchanged regardless of what happens in the outcome of any fight, he never got arrogant when he wins, he doesn't make excuses when he loses.

Personally I respect someone who is humble in victory as well as defeat rather than someone who is undefeated with great arrogance. As we all know, no one is perfect and invincible, but a true man can deal with whatever hand he got dealt. May the greatest continue to make the most of his career and life.

    Totally agree

Loved his little quote about standing and falling. The man handles himself with class. He knows he made a silly mistake but knows that Werdum did a great job. Fedor is fine example of a champion.

All Class that guy! The epitome of professional, his quote was so perfect too. He who never falls, can never stand back up

Good post we finally saw how Fedor handled himself with defeat and handled himself as well as he did throughout all his great wins. Class Champion every which way.

The guy is a class act. No body can take away from him what he has done in the sport. His record will always speak for it's self.

I suggest we all just add this dude to our block list rather than respond.

Much respect! To his credit I've never seen someone last that long in such a tight triangle.

No, No!...Wait...I thought I was doing exactly what is supposed to be done in these fight forums. When a fighter loses he is automatically shot, a bum, over rated or should retire. I thought it was a rule for posters to put down and demean any fighter who loses.

    respect too both fighters

  14. Werdum showed allot of respect and class as well. Props to both men.

Its getting rare to see fighters with class and respect in this day and age (especially in MMA).

Yeah if Fedor has to lose to someone, I am very glad it is Werdum. Werdum is a great person and a great submission artist, I hope he becomes a more complete fighter in the future. Big props to Werdum for his win and for being humble after such a great feat.
