what sense did it make to fight the fighter formerly known as RJJ. Froch would have made him more dough! Plus it would have add more to his legacy to beat an unbeaten up and comer

When Calzaghe was WBC SMW Champion and Froch was Mandatory. And Froch had been calling out Calzaghe for years before that.

If Calzaghe could have given a fight to Manfredo, then why not Froch?

calzaghe didn't want the manfredo fight,HBO did.

and carl froch isn't that big of a puncher...a good one,but not a big one.

 

I think any fight with champion vs number 1 contender makes sense.

I think Champion vs Number 1 contender makes more sense than:-

Champion vs Tocker Pudwill
Champion vs Evans Ashira
Champion vs Branko Sobot
Champion vs Jimenez
Champion vs Cadbury Salem

Or do you think Calzaghe didnt want those fights HBO did and would have rather be fighting James Toney, Prime RJJ

But the Calzaghe nutthugger gets excited watching Tocker Pudwill, Evans Ashira, Mario Veit, and other bull**** opposition and he was happy with that, and there is nothing wrong with that either.

But it didnt improve his resume, and also Joe would have had more respect fighting number 1 contender Carl Froch who was recognised in the UK, it would have made big boy money in the UK, but Calzaghe was **** scared of getting in the ring with Froch unfortunatley.

 

i have fought at semi high level and played college football if u are scared u need to get into another profession im not sayin there wasnt a player or fighter that i would come across that i might have wished i could b goin against someone else but scared i dont by it there maybe a case here and there but usually the fighter is the last one that knows the other guy can beat him even after they have been beat how many times after a guy obviously got the **** kicked out of him and he thinks he won the fight these guys didnt get that far by being scared plus they are making bank i think it is rare that a fighter is scared at that level
