Norton freaked against 200+ monsters later on after 1970's KO loss to Jorge Garcia, but Joe Walcott was not known to be a huge dude with merely vicious power.... J.W. was known as a slick boxer with good power in both mits...... I can see Norton hanging in there with Walcott without shitting his shorts brown....

I would say his best win was either Jimmy Bivins or Harry Bobo

Louis carried the weight very well. He put on 10lb of natural weight as he aged. Perfectly Normal. I would say he put on all muscle if you ask me.

I never flat out said Louie was a slob later on in the ring, but he looked terrible to me against Buzzard Charles in '50 at 218 pounds.......

Norton does get jack hard in these forums....... How the hell did the sum ***** get inducted into the IBHOF?

Sure. But Louis in 1947 was better than he was in 1950. Louis aged dramatically after those Walcott fights.

He deserves it. He wouldn't talk to his own son for years. What kind of father does that to their child?

As a fighter, I give him his due. I rate him in my top 25 heavies of all time. That's a fair ranking.

Nope. Vitali too robotic and slow for Walcott. Walcott outspeeds and outcrafts the robotic Vitali in a boring chessmatch.

How does foreman do better against walcott than liston? Liston was better than foreman hands down.

A lot of people would disagree with that though...

I would venture to guess Liston is higher rated than Foreman h2h by ESB if we took a poll. I certainly think Liston is just as powerful and strong as foreman, except more well rounded/skilled, and a much better jab.

Faster feet, cutting off the ring I would venture was his reasoning.
