No, he actually looked like a million dollars when he dominated ATG's Hopkins and Toney, when he knocked out Hill with one shot or blew Griffin out in one round, who gave Toney and Michalczewski good fights or when he looked better against John Ruiz than ATG heavyweight Holyfield.

He had his share of dull opponents, just like Ali, Louis, SRR and other greats. How many fighters completely dominated two ATG's of the Toney/Hopkins caliber the way Roy Jones did? A few, perhaps, but not many.

Even HBO says Jones ducked Calzaghe.

Calzaghe was always modest too, an Daily Mail misqouted him.

I am a fan of Dariusz and he does get underrated, but he doesn't beat Roy. He would give him a tough fight and draw out the best in Roy, like Kessler did with Calzaghe, but not beat him. Roy toyed with Griffin, Hall, Hill. Dariusz had to work to beat them.

Calzaghe, who won the title against Chris Eubank five years ago, maintains: "I'd rather beat Hopkins and call it a day than fight, say, five more ordinary fighters. I've beaten good opponents but I have not beaten a great fighter yet.

"I hope the Hopkins fight comes off because I believe 100 per cent I'll knock him out. He's 38 and starting to slide. I'll be too fast and too powerful for him."

Following two years of unproductive negotiations, he has just about given up on fighting Jones, who defends against Clinton Woods, the WBC mandatory challenger from Sheffield, in Portland, Oregon, in September.

"Jones continues to hand-pick venues and opponents to suit him," said Calzaghe.

"I wish Clinton all the best but he's up against it. You need plenty of movement and hand speed because Jones is so quick he can do what he wants.

"The light-heavyweight division is poor and Jones has fought no-one with anywhere near my handspeed."

Calzaghe, now 30 and approaching his peak, wants big fights - and superstar pay days - and he wants them now.

Man calzaghe was calling out Jones and Hopkins in his prime, no wonder they ducked him, Jones ducked him twice.

Who is RJJ tied into again? even his own company confirm RJJ ducked Joe, so does Joe himself

Roy Jones Jr had amazing skills, blinding handspeed, punching power, reflexes and the smarts to steal a fight from anyone in history. However, he didn't have more punching power than James Toney, he didn't have more class than Michael Spinks and he surely never had Bernard Hopkins' intelligence and roughness.

Eubank was better than all of those opponents, RJJ ducked him twice as did Hopkins, its easy to egt fights when people want to fight you.

The guy who posted Griffins, that shows how laughable RJJ is, Griffins was 5ft 7, decimated in 4 rounds by a Michalczelski, a no name dude beat up Griffin too.

Griffins big wins were against hype job Toney, NO ONE else, that shows how badly Americans hype their fighters.

Dont be silly. There are many boxers who would have had a chance to beat, even a prime, RJJ. But there are very few who would have beat him. There is a difference in words 'could' and 'would'
