Do you really think there is really a comparison to be made between the DLH that fought Manny and a prime Tito Trinidad?

Its not so much Tito's one punch power that would change the fight, thats probably not his biggest asset, his biggest asset along with his power, was his relentlessness, his consistency, his stamina.

Manny could only offset Tito for so long imo, Tito would ramp it up if he fell behind, plus, he has a reach advantage, Pac would not find it easy to dart in and out with a guy who has a reach advantage who can catch him pulling out if he does not use the angles correctly everytime he attacks, of coarse DLH was rangey, but DLH was a dead man walking in there.

No - that DLH probably had more skills than a prime Tito. :deal

It's all we have to go on though.

Relentless plodding forward will do nothing but get you knocked out by somebody with decisively superior foot-speed, timing and mobility.

I don't recall Tito ever catching anyone decent pulling out. DLH does actually have better countering skills, even if shot, and MP just slipped through his fingers time and time again (0:20 - 0:40):

He prolly does, but without the reflexes to compliment that what good is it? it was clear from the Forbes fight that he could not pull the trigger anymore, i picked him to beat DLH based on that.

Relentless and podding foward are two different things, Cotto plods, as he closes distance slowly, Trinidad puts on intense pressure when he get in his rhythm, see the latter rounds of the Vargas fight.

His hit and away rhythm is a great tool. He has some of the best hit and run i think i've ever seen in a fighter. He jumps in, lands a big shot or a flurry, and bounces out... If he had more variety in his attack or actual infighting skills i'd probably rate him higher atg than I do now, but even so he's still a very impressive fighter.

True. However, Tito struggled with the movement and hit-and-run tactics of far lesser fighers than Manny Pacquiao, and often had to bide his time until they gassed, stood in front of him or made massive errors to get his moment. The man was not a counter-puncher.

Trinidad was somewhat plodding himself, IMO.

Who specifically, DLH? Im not sure i personally agree that DLH is a lesser fighter than Manny, Manny never showed me he was capable of defeating a prime Oscar.

Let me tell you something you dont beat technical fighters like Hector Camacho, Pernell Whitaker Oba Carr, David Reid and Fernando Vargas if your just a power punching one dimensional plodder.

Maybe if you could consistently offset him, but if he managed to get into his he was relentless, put it this way, he is more renowned being a relentlessness fighter than as a plodder.
