Froch: still delusional about getting his arse spanked by Kessler

Showtime always has press row scoring and there analysts chip in. For the Dirrell fight the press were split and so were Analysts. Tarver had it for Froch, the other guy for Direll. For Kessler press were split but both Tarver and Bernstein had it for Carl Froch.

Personally I had Kessler fight a 114-114 draw and Dirrell he won by a point (due to the deduction). Kessler was busy but wasnt landing and the big shots came from Froch, i can understand 8-4 to Kessler but also 7-5 to Froch. The Dirrell fight, the guys just did nothing he engaged about 6 times the enitre fight.

I havent got anything paticurly huge to base my "froch not focused" thoughts on but from 2 weeks before the fight it concerned me. The whole volcano thing, no big tv deal, i just felt Frochs attitude and deminor was different. He was also resigned to the fact he may get ripped off. Also we found out his GF is pregnant, which could deffinatley distract a fighter. Steve Bunce mentioned this to Robert McCracken and he agreed, says they will 100% go abroad for a camp next time out.

Froch can turn the Abraham fight into a War and come through. He also has all the physical advantages, size, strentgh, power and reach.

 

I posted a thread on here not long after Kessler beat him about how interesting it would be to see if he'll come back stronger or not and also whether he will gain some humility. I think he has answered that question already.

Doesn't gain him any more fans from the likes of myself either, who has always thought the guy is a bit of a ****.

I'm with you Ice, Abraham's power is unproven at 168... and while it could have carried up, a lot of people make wild statements about how hard he hits

There's no evidence to suggest he'll be knocking out a tough, durable guy like Froch

Hardly got his arse spanked, did he? It was a close fight. Most people had Kessler but by a point or two. Apart from that one ****** who called me a nut-hugger just for saying it was close and scored it 10-2 for Kessler.

I suspect that a lot of people who say that the fight wasn't close saw it on a dodgy stream...an awful lot of what Kessler was throwing Froch was slipping...a very close fight.

 

Erm, the onus is on you to provide evidence that Abraham is a 'much harder puncher than Kessler, Dirrell or Taylor', since you were so emphatic in your statement.
