    :rofl

hatton is NOT a big draw

why do you think pac and floyd both did better numbers against other fighters than they did hatton?

anyone who knew anything about boxing knew hatton was a british gatti.

I don't think you can blame him for the De La Hoya fight, that fight made him the attraction he is today.

I was happy with the Hatton fight too but I live in the UK so that's the reason why, the only fight I'd have liked to have seen him take would have been a Cotto fight instead of retiring but that's in the past now, JMM was a farce but it let him get rid of any rust without being challenged too much.

    Yes really.

JMM was a damned interesting bout. He is a skilled fighter and a common opponent between him and Manny. Nobody in their right mind should have thought of it as a threat other than "a puncher's chance".

Where you even on ESB then? It was good to see him back and see where he was, but nobody thought of it as more than a tune up. No Mayweather fan thought he would win if the FMJ came back that we all knew.

Yes FMJ is that good. His tune-ups get on PPV, but it was still a tune-up/interest builder. Not a threat.

I see that you will say just about anything. Sheesh...

i dont blame floyd or pac for ANY of the career choices they made, obviously they did great and made millions

i dont like how they are thought to as warriors fighting the best

both of these guys are constantly being compared to greats such as robinson and armstrong, its so silly that its funny.

No one outside of hardcore boxing fans wanted to see the Margarito fight. NO ONE. Period. Arum offered Floyd 8 million to fight Margarito but he wanted options on Floyd - which Arum knew would be a deal breaker. Anyone who says Floyd ducked Margarito is basically full of ****.

Floyd wanted the Cotto fight when he was still a 140lb'er. Cotto's people wanted no parts of Floyd.

Man you are an idiot. It did 850K buys IN THE US! It did 1.2-1.4 MILLION in the UK. I have no idea what Pac's numbers were. You do know that the world is bigger than the US right?

Hindsight is 20/20. Brian Kenny pre-Hatton would disagree.

typical floyd trying to cherry pick a green cotto at his worst weight.:hey

everyone wanted to see mayweather margo/cotto

it would have easily done over 1 million ppv buys.

i dont know about you but i like my favorite fighters taking the biggest challenges.

Lets hope that the deadline is something that brings these two men to the ring. There's FAAAAR too much money on the line to come up with anther obstacle in making this a reality. Both men need one anther if they want this kind of paper....And BOTH need one anther to REALLY impact their legacy to the point where they will gain legend status...which both are right at the door step now if not already at that level. I can't see this fight NOT happening, but I won't be jumping up and down until I see the fight is signed, sealed and delivered.
