stupid post. pacquiao should be boycotted next time he faces a fighter who he insists is weight drained (cotto and oscar) ofrany fighter who has already been exposed by mayweather (oscar and hatton) or a walking statue (joshua clottey)

 

What? Look... Pac is the top fighter in the sport right now. He may be a little behind in PPV numbers but the dude barely speaks english and is just now becoming the established P4P king. There is no way he should be fighting guys who were just on BAD a month ago.
Neither should floyd. They should be fighting only elite boxers.

Collazo fought Berto to a stand still and IMHO got the better of him or enough to get a draw/rematch. He also came from behind to beat Hatton and was ROBBED!

Williams I don't blame anyone at WW for not fighting him, but if guys expect Mayweather to fight him then they should equally expect Pac to do so. (Same for Martinez.)

Sure it is, but if the fight doesn't get made these guys should take on decent comp. It isn't their or the fan's faults that the guys in the #3 spot on down are soooooooo far behind.

 

If PAC vs Floyd will fall through again this time, I think it's best for Team PAC to wait for what Floyd will do next without Pacquiao. PAC did the first move last time out so let's see what Floyd will do this time.

Collazo already lost to mosley and hatton though. Yeah he's durable, but say the name collazo to the avg fight fan.

The difference in competition for pac and floyd is that pac can probably make 135 fairly easily.

It never stopped Pac before. It never stopped his fans from praising him. ODLH, Hatton, Cotto, etc... Now Cotto, Margarito, or JMM. It is just a guys who were beaten up and/or weight drained. Collazo beat Hatton and was robbed of his WW strap. He lost legit to Mosley though. So there is a case for Mosley getting the nod.

FMJ is "stuck" at 147, but I am sure that guys would come up to fight. Especially Bradley. I would not be interested in FMJ forcing a lean guy like Martinez into a catchweight. That money flame would attract them.

 

Why should Mayweather be boycotted? He just fought one of the top WWs and top p4p fighters in the world. Now it looks like he'll be fighting either the number 1 or 2 WW and p4p fighters in the world. If the Pacquiao fight comes off, that would mean his last 4 opponents would be top 10 p4p fighters at the time Mayweather fought them(to be fair though, Marquez did have to come up two weight classes). Mayweather has fought some good comp as of lately, and it looks like that will continue. He's also fought in some of the biggest fights in the last few years and is one of the main fighters that are responsible for keeping the sport relevant.
