George Foreman had that reputation. People really believed he might KILL, as in end the life of, Ali in the Jungle. If he wasn't AS feared as Tyson....he was close. As for Manny. He's not close. After Morales switched stances and out-brawled him in the last round of the first fight, and after Marquez utterly schooled him after being knocked down 3 times.....Manny doesn't look invincible.
Wladimir and Pavlik :good Pac doesn't have "1 punch" KO power. He stops guys....he doesn't put them to sleep. He wins by an accumulation of quick, sharp punches.
That was before the 3rd fight. HIs last two fights proved he can win by just standing there and firing some punches in spurts, and his opponents already know they will lose.
The moment Solis got hit by a couple of combos from Pac, he already knew it was over. I don't think the punches were enough to put him into daze street, but he just decided not to fight.
That, Diaz against PAc, I am afraid is true, but until then, and proven otherwise, I'd say Pac right now, at 130, has already gotten wins just becasue of his previous fights and his rep.
Manny has NEVER looked invinceable. His just an exciting fighter that goes alll out non stop looking for the KO nothing more or less.I dont get all this mindless nuthugging and fan frenzy. No ones ever going to look at a 5ft 5 asian guy who`s 135lbs and think "that dude sure is intimidating!" Not even if his name is Bruce Lee.
I agree with you i also like to see him with JMM, GUzman, soto and valero.... IMO He can KO all of this guys... that would look good in his resume...:yep but PAc is NOWHERE NEAR the kind of fear that tyson instilled at hearts of his opponents...
I bet DLH laughs at the suggestion of fighting Pac. He would laugh at the suggestion of fighting Tyson too... but in a terrified, mortified way. End.
You phrase the word intimidating in general sense. :huh Of course Pac is no intimidating above his weight level. Some would just say he is menace now at 130. Haters also knows it.
