Who'd have blamed Leapai's people if they had moved his fight somewhere else and assembled a decent card around it.

The remainder of this card is about on par with the 'main' event.......not worth crossing the road for.

    Think about it Einstein....

The press are there to make $$$ by selling stories. This pile of **** PROMOTION is not a story to sell.

You'd need much better attributes to the show than a single heavyweight bout expected to last two rounds for the press to drum up anything.

Guess what??? The press know Mundine sux too....

The media does appear to be particularly interested in the card full-stop Ash. In Melbourne you wouldn't even know it was on.

    'US heavyweight visits Australia'

....is not exactly headline making news, Ash.

He's about the 60th ranked Yank and 150th in the world - it's not like a Klitscho or Tyson are here.

The press would have turned up. Taking nates and recording from the weigh in etc. In the event of Mandy dying in tomorrow nights fight the press will have something to talk about that wont make us laugh.... seeing him looking like a plucked chicken on the scales will make the nation sympathise with his untimely demise.

How often do US heavies come out here??? Oh, try this one on dip ****.... ESB Aussie forum writer Tillman was from the USA.. errrr.. his uncle was a former Tyson oponent and H/W contender... Tillman was in Aust in Feb and March..

Not to rain on Leapai's parade, as I wish him success, but egghead- Yanks are not unique in travelling to Oz. Because a yank H/W (who lasted 3 rounds with a Mexican H/W) is on this card does not suddenly make it worth the $50.

Keep kissing arse and hoping people pay for the show Ash... hope and prey they do, just so Mandy doesn't do his balls.. You're the most incredibley ****ing delusional fight fan I've ever met.

Just remember, people are actually bouycotting the chance to see Leapai tomorrow night due to the fact he's on the Mundine card.... in fact he's the only reason to watch the pitifully disgusting promotion. ****s like you are too ****ing stupid to know any better and thrive on the wiff on Mandy's knickers, ignorant to the bull**** in them.

I look forward to seeing Leapai do well on Jamie Myers next promotion.

CP, I know being a deputy to the chief clown must be draining work and delusions are a prerequisite for the post so I won't point out the sheer dumbness of your shared obsession or neglect for logic.

Way to have me on your 'ignore' list though. :patsch:rofl:rofl

Not like that geale picture you just couldn't forget.:lol:

    Cringe.

Excellent writing, you must be a big time australian boxing writer?

    :hi:

If Tyson reactivated himself today, he would not be close to 60th ranked Yank or 150th in the world...:yep

Does someone want to tell about what time the Leapai vs. Walker bout is supposed to start so IB can set his alarm?

If Tyson visited here, rightly or wrongly, and without a ranking, there'd be cameras up his nose from start to finish.

Likewise the Klits because the newspaper copy would include 'reigning world champion', and that's what the print media know sells papers.

'Visiting US heavyweight' just doesn't cut it mate.

Just to further emphasize the Melbourne media's lack of interest in this card:

This morning's Melbourne Herald Sun have tucked a 50mm x 50mm AAP offering into the bowels of the Sport section, and the gist of the few lines is 'Which makes Mundine's decision to take on an unknown Argentine tonight all the more bewildering'.

In a more respectable location in the Sport section today there's an article that includes a large picture, and is about six times the size of the Mundine article, discussing Lester Ellis and 'Rocket' Rod Carr's boys about to fight amateur bouts on the same card.

    ....tonight's a yawn boys...
