Just watched Lewis's Ko's of Golata and Ruddock about 18 times. Man, I think he'd cream the livin' **** outta Liston like it was a casual hobby rather than an actual effort. Liston would be an easy tun-up for Lewis prior to going in against a REAL FIGHTER.

    Disagree.
Liston would give Lewis a good fight. He could fight him from the outside, and inside, like what Mercer did. Mercer may have been bigger and weigh more, but it shows what Liston could've done.

Not really sure where all these posts are going....But I am just going along for the ride! Personally I would pick Liston, but sense something larger is going on????

Lewis seriously could KO Liston in 1 or 2 rounds, not saying it would happen but it could, the size and speed advantages are pretty big

Lewis was no better than Cleveland Williams and Liston kicked the **** out of him. Liston in 3. Lewis is so overrated, particularly by brits who will cling to any domestic fighter that even remotely gets a world ranking.

No offense to Lewis as they were good KO's, but stopping a damaged goods Ruddock and the overrated Golota early have no bearing on the outcome of this fight.

If Rahman and McCall can blitz Lewis in his prime with one right hand I have no reason to think Liston couldnt. If a past his prime Holyfield and an out of shape Mercer can beat him (and yes Holy deserved the second fight and Mercer was robbed) then Liston can too. If Liston can take the bombs of Cleveland Williams, who hit as hard as Lewis, was faster, and had better boxing skills and coordination then I think he would comfortable against an uncoordinated panzy-ass like Lewis. Kills me that Lewis is so ****ing overrated today based on such a **** record and then when you look past the record and look at his actual career and fights and see he sucked and that his first two championships were literally handed to him without having to fight for them. What a ****ing joke. Wow Britain had a champ. Congrats! These are the same guys who swing from David Hayes dick everytime he opens his mouth...

Liston had a pretty good chin, I don't see Lewis stopping him. Bad matchup for Lewis IMO.

How did the wind from Ali's phantom punch knock him down then?
