    http://latestmmanewsnow.wordpress.c...-beat-by-a-guy-who-couldnt-cut-it-in-the-ufc/

UFC president Dana White was one of many who watched as Fedor suffered his first defeat in ten years to the heavily decorated Brazillian Jiu-Jistu practitioner Fabricio Werdum. White who has been very vocal on his thoughts of the Russian heavyweight claimed he felt vindicated while on tour for UFC 116.

“I’ve been saying it for years, Fedor is not a top 10 heavyweight. He just got beat by a guy who couldn’t cut it in the UFC in the first round. There’s at least 10 fighters in the UFC right now who would beat Fedor even worse.”

Despite the harsh criticism White stated he would still be willing to offer the former WAMMA champion a new contract if he wishes to sign on with the UFC.

“Tell you what, if he wants to sign with the UFC now, the previous contract where I offered him an insane amount of money is off the table. I’ll give him a new contract, 20K to show and 20K to win. If he doesn’t accept it, too bad.”

We knew this was coming. As much as people cant stand Dana, Fedor and his team screwed this one up.

Now you read what Dana says and you really cant refute it.

**** that buddy. Fedor has been tested for the past decade, just because he lost a fight doesn't turn everything Dana say as being correct. Fedor's legacy is set in stone even if he doesn't win a single fight from here on out. If any sheeps out there who wants to believe Dana, then please go on ahead but don't come telling the rest of us long term MMA fans nothing counts unless it is UFC.

All that happened is Werdum proved he is a amongst the best in the world. White shocks me when he comes out with this drivel. Werdum could cut it in the UFC and Gonzaga and Vera are amongst his bitches. The same Gonzaga used to build the profiles of Couture, Carwin and JDS. The same guy Rogan is saying is a top 10 heavy on the promos. Werdum made him his ***** twice.

Werdums record speaks for itself - only 19 fights but with wins over Gonzaga x2, Erikson, Overeem, A.Emil, Vera, Big Foot and F.Emil. Half of his fights are good wins. His losses are to the best in the world.

No one wanted Fedor to join the UFC more than me. BUt his partners wanted to co-promote with UFC? WTF was that all about?? Heres a chance to clean out the UFC HW Division and once youve done that Fedor would have been bigger than the UFC.

Now what did they do? They took a chance and waited for Fedor to lose. Basically, theyve committed financial suicide. For what? So they can co-promote??

Expect another BUM like Rampage to come out mouth stuffed with Danas balls and call Fedor overrated. This shits aint ending.

Hows this for funny? What If Fedor had put his ties to M1 to one side and signed for the UFC?

If he'd walked through their division and claimed the belt he would never be able to fight under his own companys banner again. Unless he lost the belt and UFC released him, of course.

Look at Randy Couture for example. He had a fall out with the UFC and left but because he was their reigning champion he was unable to fight anywhere else, hence the reason he went back.

UFC contracts are far too restrictive. Also, would you sign a contract for a company whos president talks so much **** about you?

    I know i wouldn't.

True Dana with his mouth killed that deal more than anyone. Anyone know how much the deal was brewing in $ terms before both parties came to an impasse? If its millions who cares if its restrictive? Randy just got greedy. So did Vera.

All Im saying is whatever money was floating around, it aint coming back to the table.

We all know Dana White is overrated. I've been saying it for years and now I feel vindicated.

Dana is a stupid ******* and the UFC sucks ass. Fedor is still better than any UFC heavy by far. I will be keeping my $59.00 this weekend. :hi:

Well I will never claim Fedor's team is the smartest business-wise. Although money is important to a certain extent, but it is not the most important to all.

Just because he didn't make the maximum amount of money that he could have, doesn't make him any less of a fighter.

No matter what Dana says you cannot deny the truth

only the fools would accept what Dana says and believe the shite that man talks

Fedor has been the most consistant MMA fighter for the last 10 years and he can still clean the UFC heavy division out if he wanted

I think theres a bit of over-confidence in Fedors part. They never thought hed lose and he was gonna hold out for more. This confidence manifested itself the other night. Careless, reckless fighting against someone who was a dangerous fighter.
