Chavez was at his absolute best at 135. Mosley was very strong and fast at 135, so of course he'd have a speed advantage over Chavez. People need to keep in mind this isn't the tattered version beaten to a pulp by Oscar, this is the bobbing and weaving, iron chinned 135lb destroyer that would never take a step back. I think it would be a close fight, with Mosley probably winning the first 4 rounds very closely, but in the later rounds the rounds become much closer with Julio's pressure. I think being a former sparring partner of Chavez Mosley know's Chavez pretty well and vice versa, but Chavez's non stop attack and his own power, not as flashy as Mosley's, but a right hand just as good, starts slowing down Mosley in the later rounds and Chavez wins the judges scorecards by winning the last round in a grueling, closely contested fight. Mosley, like Morales, get lured into brawls easily and this would be to Chavez's advantage. Mosley also never fought a prime puncher like Rosario, a slick southpaw like Camacho, or technician like Haugen at 135 like Chavez did. Chavez's experience at 135 would be the difference and the key to victory for Chavez.
