Nal, my only argument here is floyd didn't fight hatton at 140, nothing else. i'm not saying this to put pac's win above floyd's. just like saying pac will not face cotto at his best weight, either the 2 pund difference will affect him or not, it's just the fact that he'll not face him at his strongest limit.

i'm not even saying that it would change the result. my point is, floyd didn't fight him at JWW, which is his strongest weight.

i like floyd, though i'm not a big fan. truly respect his skills. i'd favor him to beat mosley, cotto, margarito and pac (i'm a big pac fan). i didn't vote in this poll coz i think that those fighters in the choices deserved what they're getting. so do you think i'm hating?

 

its true that there are other sports with higher death ratios but every time a boxer steps in the ring he leaves a huge part of himself in there mentaly, phisicaly and emotionally
i think that they leave more of themselves in the ring then a football player leaves on the feild or a baseball player leaves on the mound or a golfer leaves on the golf course
i think that a lot of athletes are over paid but not boxers simply look at what boxing leaves a lot of retired boxers mentaly phisicaly emotionaly and alot of times broke

If any of them REALLY underperformed, they wouldn't be where they are.

 

Underperforming relative to the other 3 boxers. The other 3 give the best they can do in most of their fights.

 

Because his mindset at the start of a fight is to win by decision and if he knock outs an opponent, it is a bonus. So even if he might be capable of doing it, it never happens unless you jump to his gloves like what Hatton did.

Whereas other fighters fight to knockout their opponent, and would settle for decision if needed.
