Now i like Sonny as a rugby player but as a boxer he is involved in probably the biggest circus to ever hit town and like all participants in it he will do what ring master khoder tells him to do so plese dont start all that crapola about him not fighting his fight after Alex's out of respect here please mate .

Well there's no way I'd put a strong fight on as a main support.

To me, there's only two criteria for a main support.
    2 real bombers,, or 2 "pitter4 patter doesn't matter" 8 rounder.
The former primes the crowd with an early stoppage & the latter sends them to the bar where they get primed. (Or bored shitless if they're off the ****):lol:

Aint hindsight a wonderful thing...........plainly you forgot we're talking about a circus troupe here........and didn't Fatso live up to his main-support billing!!

Give us a positive on another night of shame Ash.

Yes, the heavies provided 10 minutes of fireworks - we know that, and it was anticipated.

What else would I have got for my $50, that I wisely kept?

A rugby player fighting a circus freak, fat-man.

A ranked fighter who made weight on his own bathroom scales fighting a nobody, and proving he had no power and little potential in a new weight division.

    An even poorer under-card.

I'm going to spend my $50 on something worth $50 Ash.

Well apparently Choc offered Ryan around the back saying he was game for another 12 rounds but will ask his management first if he can fight Ryan ...

Doing a quick read around of the news sites this morning, have seen Alexs fight mentioned just the once. SBWs "fight" getting 10x more coverage.

From my notes from last night.

Domoni-Merlin everything you'd expect from the first fight on the undercard. Both guys slow and telegraphing everything.
No sponsorship on the ring canvas, plain off red canvas, looks like budget night.
Interesting to note that the 'KO to drugs' was the most prominent feature on the Main Event poster. Also interesting that I'll probably need drugs to watch the main event.
Second fight (Leone-Smith) starts to a still empty arena. Leones trainer leading the category of 'most impressive hair' of the night so far.
Andy Raymond - "The Man is back!". Where did he go Andy?
Fenech looks like hes been in a good paddock.
4th fight and the pub I'm watching is has emptied. Only the brave remain.
Mitrevski-Dulog just horrible. Dulog actually catching PM on the ropes. Natural weight advantage finally wins through though, gee who would have thought, congrats to QLD officials for sanctioning this.
Leapai-Walker fight of the night, no science at all just bombs away, of course as soon as Alex lands a nice flurry after getting in trouble the ref jumps in and waves it off, hey, we wouldn't want anyone getting value for money on this card.
SBW vs Hulk Hogan...let us never speak of this again.
Mundine-Jerez...everything you'd expect from a hand picked opponent, this fight has proved nothing about Mundine at 154, tell a lie, he still has no power. Absolutely no interest shown by the patrons after the sixth. Security are puzzled that theres no crowd until I explain to them you usually don't need security for circuses. Spend rds 7-12 doing something constructive, talking about movies with a mate.
Mundine pushes Ryan Waters after the fight...gee, wonder who his next opponent will be...

I still find it hard to believe there's Fools out there that continue to line up and actually pay Money to watch these Mundine Manipulated Fights, for F*ck sake after Dodging Golovkin you would think they would wake up.!!!!!

For the record I never said the card was good (save Alex V Travis)or that the Mundine fight was anything more than a hit out.

Dont know why your asking me to defend it :huh

For one you were saying Khoder's going to put on better undercards - when is that going to actually start?

$50 for that show - you gotta be kidding! No wonder no pubs within miles of my place screened it.

...and where was that KO power that Choc was going to bring?
