Sure it does! How many times was it the biggest factor in the fight for him?

I honestly don't know how you can think this. I don't want to take away from your enjoyment of Golota. I get it. He's your favorite fighter I'm assuming? Awesome. I like him. No doubt the guy had skill and size. But the fact of the matter is that he WAS a mental case, and it takes A LOT away from him as a fighter.

Was he good? Yes. A H2H nightmare for a lot of guys? Sure, potentially. Does he belong on any ATG heavyweight list? No way.

I like Adamek and am a huge fan but I really dont like him at heavy weight

he faded late vs Estrada and pnly really won vs Areolla cause Areolla broke his hand

Adamek has not brought his power with him gets rocked easy and is not hard to hit

he is a disaster waiting to happen both Klits kill him Haye probably wins Povetkin and Chambers win or are tough Chag wins Valuev wins

Wladimir is strong and tough, but I don't think he would be able to intimidate Golota enough to make him burn out... then again it depends on the build up to the fight.

Wladimir is somewhat gun shy. He would need to use a lot more then his jab against a guy like Golota, something he does rarely. He would actually have to fight, which would open him up to actually get hit. Wladimir is no quick starter, either, and don't think he would be able to take out Golota in the first two rounds before he loosens up. Not to mention he hasnt ever fought anybody with the physical gifts and talent that a prime Golota possessed. Even size wise the last time Wladimir got challenged was Tony Thompson.

I'm not saying that Golota would demolish Wladimir, Golota has always been a variable. But those not giving him a chance in this fantasy matchup are delusional.

As for Adamek, I would love to see him win. But I think Wladimir is far too big for him. If Wladimir was at least a slouch, and had less power then without a doubt Adamek would have a big chance.. but he is not. Adamek has an awesome mentality to go in and try to win every fight. No fear. His eyes at each staredown are like "starring into an empty well" as Arreola put it. This is what every fighter that ever faces Adamek, including Wladimir, has to worry about. He WILL bring it. :deal

Yes, it does take away from him as a fighter overall, but in his prime he still had skills and physical attributes to battle Wlad and inflict punishment.

Chef, you are probably right. Nevertheless, I still would not discount Adamek. Since you talk to Wlad on a daily basis ask him if he thinks Adamek is more of a threat than Haye.

outpointing wlad will not make him an all time great....knocking him out , then maybe knocking out his brother, then haye would get him top 15 ...but getting up that high, you have to do more than just out point someone...

This would be an awesome question to ask if you can CHEF, then post up the reply. Curious what Wladimir thinks of the two compared to eachother.

I didn't mean it to sound like I think he should be on an ATG list. What I did was simply mention 10 "great" HW's & said that they all would beat Wlad. I just happened to include Golota with many of the ATG's to round out my list.

Point being, that Wlad doesn't belong there. He's a KO waiting to happen.

Why do you think so? Adamek is proved 2-division champion who fights with some success at his 3rd division (against much bigger guys). He is a very quality fighter and even if he eventually loses to Wladimir, it would be a much more competetive fight than most of you think. I dont want to convince you, but I am just shocked that Adamek is so underrated by many boxing fans.
