You forget one thing Mundine isnt special enough to get a better deal .Why !unlike years ago there is only one cable tv network Fox What can Mundine do, staRT HIs own network ?no that was tried fightvision went guts up. No optus these days . Sky hasn't got the money to go it alone. Would you like to discuss all the padding of seats to make venues look full as well?
Come on now all those NRL players and their relo's that get handed free tickets at training dont' take up that much room :hey
I got the fight but did it for the undercard was interested to see Woods, Mitrevski, Williams and most of all lepea, I was disappointed in Williams however considering there opponents pulled out Peter's fight was alright as was woods, walker and leapea was good stopped too early though, I can understand people not getting the fight as the main was very weak, but for a club or pub or home viewer to buy it then ask for a refund because no one showed up is garbage, you knew what you were getting whne you bought it, as they said in flying high They bought there tickets, they knew what they were in for, I say "Let it crash"
Mitrevskis fight was 'all right'? C'mon, it was a mismatch weight wise and a farce, Dulog had no real hope at all.
Dulong fought Will Tomlison in 2009 at 129¼LB, i agree withj Kegsy, the bout should not have been sanctioned. Dulongs last fight was at 130¾LB, he come in at 164¾LB against Mitevkis and most likely had rocks in his pocket when he steped on the scales! LOL or used another pair of chocs scales!
I thought Pete commentating and counting his rights during the fight was worth the price of admission alone,
Ok Ok Ok Woods was alright and Lepea was very good, Wiliams and mitevski could have been good fights but weren't both have the skils with the right person to make a good fight but i guess that competition aint gonna happen on a choc undercard anytime soon. I bought it and knew what i was getting so maybe I am silly
At times you are at the mercy of the company providing the product as to its real quality Ced. In this case the product obviously came up well short of being worth the $1300 fee - as demonstrated by FOX's willingness to provide the refund. Who would have thought some days out, unless you were the match-maker, that SBW's opponent would be the pathetic joke he turned out to be - and remember that was the main support (they went in prior to the main event). Not to mention changes to the card due to withdrawls that resulted in further mismatches. Crap product = refund warranted IMO.
