According to compubox Floyd is 1 of 2 fighters to never get touched

Floyd's gotta be in run and duck mode that rd. It's probabaly boring and the crowd booing. It could be the baldomir fight. Ask Tiger woods and Barkley?? They left the building in the 10th rd. They've seen it.

I am not impressed with not getting touched. Those guys would be Jones and Mayweather, two guys who never wanted to get hit at all. Hearns is greater than both I think and he came to fight. The not getting touched thing is a little overrated. I would like to see how much Mark Medal hit Hearns in 1986 when he fought him.

Not that wikipedia is the most accurate site, but it claims round 4 against Mosley...Floyd landed 7 and Mosley landed 0.

I don't remember that....I have a feeling if Compubox said Mosley landed zero, Jim Lampley would've been talking non-stop about it.

Yeah both are the only 2 to not get touched in a rd, but it proves nothing.

He didn't throw a punch and won a round. So he must've not gotten hit in a round before.

Yea, That was power shots. Mosley threw 26 total that round and landed a few. Marquez landed in every round too against Mayweather according to Compubox. As did Baldomir.

It's Gatti. He got whipped from pillar to post and didn't land anything at all in one of the last rounds.

Well...yes, we can. RJJ said it best...he can't be touched, can't be stopped, can't be moved, can't be rocked...

That is just in the Compubox era, and only on HBO fights (or whatever others use Compubox - which is a pretty scant minority).

    You have mistaken my post.

SNV is, of course, a defensive genius. But that isn't why he didn't get touched.

Haye simply couldn't pierce the man's aura. Everytime he lifted a glove his brain said "you should be kowtowing, fool!"

It was Valuev's incredible presence that caused him to be untouchable. His defensive genius wasn't even required.

It was Jones against Pazienza, and Jones did not run that round. He busted up Pazienza pretty bad.

    Found it, Round 4:

That "Pep won a round against Graves without throwing a punch" is probably just a myth.
