How are they overvaluing him? Top Rank lied about offereing him a fight against JuanMa, and they admitted that their offer for him to fight Gamboa was probably too low. Of course that didn't matter, as Arum cut off discussions while they were still in the prelim stages and then lied and said Caba priced himself out. Somehow, in your mind, this is Caba's fault though. That's pretty sad.:-(

He made 250K from the Yordan fight I believe, and that's what Gamboa was offering him in a fight as well. Not sure bout JuanMa.

Never mind I found a link where his promoter Dibella claim Caballero was only offer 250k from Top Rank to face Gamboa. Rojas is getting an offer 300k compare to Caballero's 250k in which supposedly is not far apart of what he has made in previous fights. DiBella also said Gamboa was asking for $1 million to face Caballero...

i just left caballero at the gym. he said this fight was fine with him, but vasquez never said he would move up to 126 for the fight. caballero says there is zero chance he ever fights again at 122. so for this fight to happen, vasquez needs to move up. on a side note, jeff mayweather said pelenchin's next fight might be at 130 if he doesnt get a fight agreed to soon. caballero weighed in at 155 today and it looks really good on him

i will have interviews up with both jeff and caballero on www.celestinocaballero.com soon.

I would love to see Gamboa in there wit Cab. I think Gamboa is the real deal. Cab is tall, but he makes some technical mistakes, that Gamboa SHOULD be able to take advantage of.
