Hatton and DLH were the sensible picks at the time. Nobody could have known Pacquiao would move up in weight so successfully until he did. Don't go giving PacDBest credit for simply talking up his guy like always. It's like if some lunatic ran around screaming that an asteroid was going to hit the Empire State Building...and then a few years later it actually happened. It doesn't mean the lunatic was prescient, or smarter than everyone, or had some great astronomical insight - he just happened to be right by freak coincidence.

Not to brag but I predicted an easy win for Pacquiao. I was baffled how many people were picking Hatton considering the style matchup.
For all we know Nonito Donaire could inexplicably move up and win a welterweight title. There's really no way to predict that he'll be that successful so far out of his weight range until it happens though. Styles don't even come into it. Nobody thought Hatton was more skilled than Pacquiao - just way too big.
No he couldn'T.... And you know why.... Everyone thought Hatton was the biggest threat to ANYONE at 140lbs....POINT BLANK......
