I thnk they will learn from the fight for sure...it was a bit step for Alex and to come away with the win was huge

Interesting comment on the physiological edge.

Alec can KO any fighter in the division he can hit esp the Klits however his complete inability to move his head and unimaginative one-dimensional approach will make it a very ugly foray into the upper echelon, every fight of his though is great entertainment and I will be watching for sure

I know one thing mate, and that is both Walker and Leapai lost a few brain cells in that little stoush, wldn't be surprised if Alex needs a good rest before lacing them up again.

Therefore if i was his camp i wldn't take on another tough fight so soon........ Maybe an easy kill here against another Aussie in a few months to see if that fight has affected him in anyway.

Alex's recovery will be the biggest challenge no doubt over the next few weeks. Don;t forget he was almost beat in that fight and that took a lot out of him physically and pyschologically one thinks

I thought Leapai has improved from just being a brawler in his last couple of fight, but it seems when he went up in comp against Walker he reverted
Hes tough and willing but hardly the 2-handed Tua, his power and chin arent in the same league or even his boxing skills.
Good luck to him becoming a HW gatekeeper but he needs to sharpen up his skills

No rest for the wicked, I'm afraid. Owen Beck on August 12th is the plan. I think the key is to keep him busy. Keep him in the gym. As I've said, he's got things to improve on. Noel knows this and has said it all along. He showed great potential and came through one of the biggest "gut checks" I've seen in a long time.

A Vinny Maddelone type would be another decent test for Alex imo

I've spoken with Vinny's people and they want a fair bit of coin mate, as you'd expect. He'd be an ideal opponent though, I agree. It'd be fun while it lasts. Who knows, it could be something for down the line, I don't think anything is ruled out to be honest.

Maybe if Bert got on a roll similar to Bruce Seldon a few years. I don't see him lasting long with Alex at the moment.

I think Chauncy is a good option. Good experience, durable, cheap flight and not asking Maddalone level money.
