No they wern't all tin cans but being the best in the world during his prime he took too many undeserving fights IMO.

 

Who else was out there in the Pride circuit though? Pride had the best heavyweights in the world and Fedor beat them all down. Did you want him to go door to door around the world kicking ass?

 

At the time Barnett,Werdum,Kharitonov were all in Pride at that time.

 

Your clutching at straws. He just fought Werdum. The Barnett fight was cancelled at Affliction because Barnett was on hormones. As for Kharitonov solid heavyweight. But no one was hollering and screaming for that fight.

Either way the heavy division in the UFC had zero consistency. The title readily changed hands between Mir Sylvia and AA. Fedor destroyed AA and Sylvia. Guys like Cain Lesnar Carwin careers had barely begun let alone even started. All the best heavys were in PRIDE. The ones that mattered Fedor fought.

Barnett was in Pride and so was Werdum at that time so don't spin things like the politition you are.

- wins over "freak shows" like: Hong Man Choi at 160kg and 2m19, who wasn't that bad at K1 - try to fight a guy like this being 1m80 and about 100kg...
- his last oponennts were all ranked top 5 by sherdog (shitdog?) before the fight...

How can anyone argue about the quality of his opponents?
